The need to write is greater
Than the content I have lived
In times of stress and pressure
I somehow can’t relieve
Just putting pen to paper
Puts the stars back in the sky
The sun and rain in gardens
The light back in my eye
So here’s a simple line or two
To let you know I’m here
Beauty all around us all
And rainbows far and near
