Today we have had the hottest February day on record. 19 ° C here. Blue sky and sunshine but I hear it will change back to winter very soon. . We have had nearly 2 weeks of spring weather.
I remember one spring in Indiana… we were out at dusk – a row of Pussy Willow lined the walkway and was filled with little tiny purple blue butterflies.

You are so right about what a gift the willows give us…..and this makes me hopeful after a weekend of drifting snow and winds over 50 mph.
