Your piece reminds me of the advancement in my neighborhood. One road (over 30 years ago) had a simple two lane road into the city with out many lights… now with progress at one point there are six lanes (two a deticated entrance into a shopping/housing area) and more traffic lights to wait at – and yet some of the roads that need lights don’t have them…
