sun shines
on the giver
and on the reciever
today I saw the joy this brings
love’s light

Sun reflecting on water ought to have more than just ‘glint’ for a name. Sunglade might be nice don’t you think?
Now with the trees almost bare, I can see the light of the moon ripple in the little creek –
I also see the back yard lights of my neighbors home that is now exposed.
The Moon light reflection has a name; moonglade. I was trying to find information on the history of the word. But nothing decisive, other than it is of rare ‘poetic’ usage. I did find this:
“Heaven was full of silent stars, and there was a moonglade on the water that stretched almost from him to Rose.” — Edgar Rice Burroughs, The Efficiency Expert, 1921
😉
This is lovely poetry 😊
Thank you
My pleasure!
