From tiny beginnings to oceans I discovered the world in words

Monotonous rhythm

One and two
Circle swing
Heave and push
Governor spins
Rhythm clicks
Mighty wheels
Powerful arms
Clip and clack
Interlocking gears

Steady pulse
Pistons shunt
Feel the warmth
Smell the oil
Governer wide
Faster speed
Belts run clear
Clip and clack
Pistons rise and fall

Chuff and hiss
Power steam
Crankshaft turns
Valves and pipes
Pressure lifts
Push and pull
Flywheel whirrs
Clip and clack
Until the work is done

  1. this brought back fabulous memories of when a Steam Engine chugged through our town. Hundreds of people lined the tracks to experience the sound.

  2. I love the rhythm of this.

  3. “Same Train, Different Track” Elaine Patricia?

  4. There is an old mill building that is now in other usage. But about 30 odd years back I had a friend who actually had bought ground flower from there. I would love to see the inside of it.
Other folks we know almost bought the building for a home, but it was just too close to the roadway for all their children.
