From tiny beginnings to oceans I discovered the world in words

27 days into January

In my own small space

in the quiet time of year

the arbour stands neglected,

it still holds my heart

I feel the need to touch it

the old grey willow watching.

  1. Lovely poem, and excellent leaf removal skills xx

  2. Looking forward to my willow blooming…
I have a different arbor…plant life left from autumn needs trimming…
but not today. Just a smattering of an occasional white flake.

  3. The small space is beautiful, a space with soul and for waiting and watching.

  4. Being alone with your thoughts really does the body good – my man shed is where I do most of my thinking!
