From tiny beginnings to oceans I discovered the world in words

Inevitability.

Time moves on
along the daffodil edged road
A blown out tyre
lies amongst the dead.
McDonalds
a mile and ten minutes east
arrives here without aim.
Bluebells strive for higher morals,
nature’s determination against man.

  1. Thanks Ian and Rising Hawk

  2. It is sad to see waste blown about.
We’ve a neighbor up the street that has a plastic bag stuck in high branches.
And the only thing to do is to wait for the wind to blow it down…

Sometimes though I do see ‘work-crews’ in orange (convicts on a day out…)
picking up trash. We also have a program here where business adopt a highway – and are responsible for keeping a particular stretch of road debris free.

  3. We have all these organisations here too Jules. Like your ‘convicts on a day out’.
