From tiny beginnings to oceans I discovered the world in words

More September Smiles.

Jorio.    (4 words x 4 lines).

Migrating geese come in

whiffling down to roost

filling the air with

the song of autumn.

…………………………………

Elfje.

……..

Fish,

fast food,

flash of blue,

fully fashioned for diving.

Kingfisher.

……………………………………

Two haiku.

…..

cutting sweet peas

in late September sun-

simple pleasure

……………………………

in evening sunlight

midges and mosquitoes dance

the cotillion

  1. Thanks for the ‘like’ Freya

  2. So glad you did a Jurio. We had some issues with nasty grey geese. But the Canadian geese are generally very wary of getting too close.

I actually took my houseplants in (the ones I put outside) this evening. I hope I didn’t bring in any bugs with them.

  3. Thank you for your comments they are so encouraging Jules.

  4. Thanks for stopping by Polly
