From tiny beginnings to oceans I discovered the world in words

Nat. Haiku Writing Month

NaHaiWriMo 2015

Day 15… prompt… nest

unoccupied nests
exposed~ plush green moss grows
furnishing stone walls

Day 16… prompt… nickel

as evening closes-
nickel silver streamlets flow
salty estuaury

Day 17… prompt… nosebleed

outpouring sorrow-
elephants returning-
year upon year

Day 18… prompt… neon

heaven’s stars still sleep~
our neon street lights polluting
the late evening sky

Day 19… prompt… nuance

newborn babies skin-
soft as outward sleeping breath~
touch- gently cradled

Day 20… prompt… notebook

notebook of my life
wakens another blank page
to make my mark on

Day 21… prompt… newlywed

broken antique vase
newlywed- do not handle~
glue not yet dry
