From tiny beginnings to oceans I discovered the world in words

In Silence

The dark, stark, stones of memory and grief
stand row upon row, yet each one alone,
silently rooted in the frozen cold earth.
Lovingly bedecked with flowers,
poinsettia and holly.
Recalling precious memories
of Christmas’ gone by.

Elaine Morris (c) December 2012.
