From tiny beginnings to oceans I discovered the world in words

Winter Celebration

Slowly, silently, darkness lengthens,
moonlight twinkles on snow covered ground.
Red berried holly, mistletoed oak,
sparkling landscapes, glistening trees.
Jupiter shines, the world is waiting.
Holly King weakens ready to rest.
Deep in the earth new life is stirring.
Solstice is here, re-birth of the sun.
Pink dawn awakens, the Oak King reigns.
Bring in the Yule tree, the evergreen,
the continuing cycle of life.
