From tiny beginnings to oceans I discovered the world in words

Memories

The dark, stark stones of memories and grief

Stand row upon row, but each one alone

   Rooted in the frozen earth

   Beneath a cold grey sky

Adorned by poinsetta, holly wreath, foliage and flower.

   Silhouettes against the snow

   Bedecked with loving memories

   Of Christmas’ gone by.
